Doris Mary Ann Kappelhoff was born in 1922. In 1947 she started her solo career with Columbia Records which lasted till 1967.
Recorded originally in 1943 by Bing Crosby, i'll be home for christmas was written by Kim Gannon, Walter Kent and Buck Ram it was later performed by Dorris day and was released on her album of christmas songs in 1964.
